Our expertise covers an extensive array of diagnoses, so the first step to treatment is an initial evaluation.
Initial psychiatric assessments are 45 minutes long, and medication follow-up sessions are 15-30 minutes, depending on the provider and the issue at hand. Initial therapy assessments and follow-ups are 50 minutes.
To make an initial appointment with the psychiatrist, one of our psychiatric nurse practitioners, or any of our therapists, please call (614) 407-6513
Being a parent is an amazing responsibility and children depend on many things including guidance, knowledge and love.
Have you had tough moments with your children and need help and advice?
Have you had doubts about your parenting methods?
Do you often feel frustrated or emotional when your child misbehaves?
Our clinicians can meet parents alone, or with the kids involved, and help build stronger relationships. Both parents and their children, as a team, discover new techniques and strategies to cultivate positive behavior.
Our clinicians specialize in teaching coping skills to children, adolescents and adults.
As we learn and develop new coping skills in therapy, we become more motivated and engaged as people. These valuable skills help us express our thoughts and feelings productively, learn problem solving, improve self-esteem and discover new ways to cope with stress.
This program is also offered for groups because often connecting with others handling similar issues greatly helps us learn the best methods for coping.
Our clinicians believe therapy combined with mindfulness is an effective counterbalance for anxiety, depression and stress.
Enjoy a variety of creative exercises for problem solving, examining thoughts & emotions, and self-discovery. The goal is becoming mentally stronger and emotionally balanced through being mindful and noticing one's own feelings without acting and distracting others.
