Compare and discover the absurd
This instrument is a part of thinking and cognitive skills training for kids and it is designed to help discover and understand incongruity between two offered situations in the form of pictures. Each situation offers objects and events that must be analyzed, controlled and compared relationships between two situations portrayed.
This exercise offers images from real life experience. It is important to look at the whole picture and what information is relevant to the whole picture; it is important to find the relevant information between different parts of the picture.
This exercise helps to understand the situation and find a cause and effect including to explain how it happened. It has elements to help develop humor. This exercise helps in transition from seeing a local picture to the general picture, from concrete to abstract. Finaly, it helps to work the child’s thinking process to make it more logical and reasonable
